Exploring New Horizons
for Equal Educational Opportunity
June 11-12, 2008
SEIU Building, at Dupont
Circle, NW, Washington, DC
Once again, this year’s conference
will bring together plaintiff litigators, education
advocates, and policy experts to engage in a multi-faceted
exploration of education reform.
We look forward to another exciting
gathering and to your participation. Our preliminary
agenda includes litigators’ workshops – new and improved – and
a series of Education Voters sessions on statewide
advocacy and leadership. You can also choose among
sessions on "hotbeds" of school funding
reform, a session on the proposed movement to amend
the federal constitution to add the right to education,
and a session addressing the challenges of revenue
shortfalls that many states are facing, among other
important topics.
